Why a thank you project now?

        2010 will mark the 25th anniversary of the original broadcast on Canadian television of Kevin Sullivan's adaptation of Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables series. I don't doubt that Megan fans first encountered her work at different times and through different roles, but the impact of the Anne movies on Megan's career and subsequent fan following is, in my opinion, unequivocal. This 25th anniversary seems like perfect timing for a project that will allow fans to let Megan know how much they have enjoyed her work throughout all these years, and to thank her for all the outstanding work she keeps on delivering.

Can anyone submit a fan message/letter?

        Of course! As long as you are a Megan fan, you're in! The hope is for this project to be a thoroughly international one. One of the most astounding things about Megan's work is that it reaches many fans from all corners of the world. I hope that through the crazy word of mouth of the interwebs, this project will reach as many fans as possible from a great range of countries.
